Namako Tenmoku - 3 piece place setting of Japanese stoneware. Set includes one rectangular dinner plates, 8.5 x 6 inches, one rice bowl, 4.75 inches in diameter, and one tonsui, sauce bowl, 5 x 4.5 inches. Made in Japan. Japanese ceramic artists, using techniques handed down through the centuries, create these unusual and uniquely Japanese pieces. A multi-process glazing gives a beautiful translucent finish to the deep blue, and a textured "volcanic rock" finish to the charcoal colored areas on each piece.
