Tibetan Lattice Burner

11" long. Wood, hand-made in India.  Some plain, some with a variety of brass decorations on sides. For use with most stick-type incense, though not recommended for the thinner Japanese joss sticks.  Incense rests lengthwise across rungs. As incense burns, ash falls into box beneath rungs.  Indian incense (with the incense on a bamboo stick) may be wedged between the rungs by the bamboo end of the stick, so that it stands at an angle.

Very efficient way to burn incense, and looks great on altar.
